Justin McArthur is a Tarntanya/Adelaide-based writer and podcaster with more than a decade of media experience.

Before co-founding P. Zinner & Co. in early 2023, Justin was the Senior Producer for Sydney-based audio agency Ampel, where he worked on tech podcast ‘The Next Billion Seconds with Mark Pesce’ (nominated for ‘Best Audio Program’ at the 2023 Australian IT Journalism Awards); comedy podcasts ‘Waltzing Jimeoin’ and ‘The SnortCast with Diana Nguyen’; and astronomy/comedy podcast Mates in Space, which they wrote, researched and co-hosted with fellow Adelaide podcaster Jack Eaton. He has also worked on the shows ‘Fumes: The Truth About Inhalants’ and ‘Mummy Village’ for Melbourne-based agency Swivol Media.

Justin holds degrees in Media and Arts (Philosophy) from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Certificate in Science Communication from the Australian National University. Alongside operating P. Zinner & Co. and editing audio for freelance clients, they are currently developing new podcast projects — watch this space!
